Sketching in Ink is a dream child of Alicia Kidd, a hope that one day she could dedicate her full time and attention to creating and teaching art. Alicia formally studied art, design & photography from a young age.
Ever since she could remember, she has been drawing and selling her art.
Always creating and always dreaming, Alicia has illustrated books and designed corporate branding and product packaging for many companies and start-ups.
Feeling more comfortable behind a camera, Kidd has dedicated over 16 years to her Professional Photography business but has always found the time to sketch her everyday life, urban scenes, henna doodles, and even her French Bulldog, Yen-yen.
Art is an important part of life for Alicia.
Serving as Vice President and Director of Exhibitions for a non-profit Art Guild, Kidd uses her past experience as a Curator to create new opportunities for artists living in Puerto Rico.
